Appletree fabric

Remember the sew&cut skirt i designed for a Spoonflower contest? Well this fabric design is based on that design. Lillestoff liked the design and asked me to make an all over pattern with the tree. I'm happy with how the fabric turned out. The colors are bright and the quality of the organic jersey fabric is perfect! And ofcourse i sewed my little girl an outfit. The patterns for the tunic and the trousers came from an Ottobre magazine.
I sewed on the trousers a little piece of the ribbon as a label. That was so easy, but it looks so lovely :) The owl ribbon is also available in a offwhite color.

And for a new litlle baby niece called Milou i sewed this sleeping bag.
The fabric and ribbons are available in my shop and on Etsy. So if the blog inspirered you to sew: you're welcome to visit my shop :)

Sewing Little Forest Bunting

I received some questions about how to sew the bunting. So here are some pictures to help make the bunting.

Cut out all images. I left a little space around but that is not necessary
Sew the pieces with the printed sides to each other. Then cut the tip.

Sew the label between the two pieces of fabric.
Turn the pieces inside out.

Fold the bias band around the top of the flag and sew it together. I left about 20cm space between the flags.
