Furoshiki and free gift tags!

 

 

 

 I designed some gift tags matching the christmascards and fabric with the vintage christmasballs and snowman. You can download it for free here or at my flickr and use it for your presents.
The tags are only for personal use!

These presents are being wraped with a square piece of fabric called Furoshiki. Furoshiki is originating from Japanese culture and it's a eco-friendly way to wrap your christmaspresents! There are all kinds of knots to wrap your presents. You can even fold a bag or clothing :)

The fabric is also available at Spoonflower. A fat quarter is perfect to make a furoshiki of 45 x 45 cm.
Cut the fabric, make a small seam an wrap your presents like this!

The fabric and tags match with the christmas cards. Which you can find in my shop or etsy.

Little Forest fabrics are available!

Last week 'the Little Forest fabrics' from Lillestoff arrived. I'm so happy with the quality and colors! It's amazing. These jersey fabrics are made of organic cotton and 5% elasthan. The mushrooms, brown forest, little forest and ribbons are all available in my shop and for international buyers on Etsy.

For my little girl Leonora i sewed a jacket with the forest fabrics. The outside i made off ribcord fabric and added a fleece layer that i ironed on. The pattern for the jacket i found in Ottobre autumn 4/2010. (the mittens and beanie i made with my own pattern) It was a so special to make this for Leonora. A year ago i designed these patterns to decorate her room...and now she's a one year old wearing a jacket with the same patterns :D

Bears love fish!

My newest collection on Spoonflower.com. I made the design almost 2 weeks ago because i thought it was the deadline for the fishing contest of the week. This gave me a little more time to make some coördinating fabrics. I'm looking forward sewing a project with this fabrics :-)

My newest entry for the Spoonflower contest of the week 'the year of the rabbit'.
Inspired by my friends who love to make music on fiddle, flute, guitar, bodhran and accordeon!
I don't know if i'll add the whole collection to spoonflower. It just was fun to make some repeats that will be nice with the bunny fabric.
