Tractor fabric

I would have never though i could sew boys underwear. But as soon as i saw the pattern of Van Katoen I really wanted to try it with one of my jersey fabrics from lillestoff. And my son loves it!!!
The fabric will be available in my shop and etsy next week!

Doran is 5 years old!

My little boy is 5 years old now! And ofcourse i designed invitations, a birthdaycake and treats for his birthday! And on his request it had to be a dragon!

Cars and trucks.. Let's Play!

 A couple of months ago i did a lovely job for Peaceable Kingdom. A company that makes stickers, greeting cards, and games. I've designed a map and a lot of vehicles. The vehicles are reusable stickers. And my son loves it too! As soon as he saw the box of the stickerset he wanted to play. The stickers are reusable...that's great! They also stick on the window i discovered :)

I also designed two birthday cards for Peaceable Kingdom for one and two year old boys and girls!

Leonora 1 year!

My little girl is already 1 year old now! She's such a sweet girl. Last weekend we had a party ...and ofcourse i made her a party dress with the ditsy fabric design i made a couple of weeks ago. ...and the cake was delicious :D

On wheels sweater for Doran!

Finally i made a sewing project with the on wheels organic jersey. It was so much fun to make! And i'm glad that Doran is very proud of his new soft sweater! The fabric is available in my shop. And the pattern was based on a pattern from the magazine Ottobre. I adjusted the pattern; make long sleeves instead of short sleeves. Added cuffs and added the pockets. The pocket idea came from my husband :)

Apple tree pinafore!

Here it is; a pinafore with the appletree design. I sewed it a couple days ago to see if the pattern is ok. After trying it on my daughter i adjusted the pattern shape. I still need to try it on a bigger girl, but i think it will fit to a 3 year old too. First it's a dress...then it can be worn as a tunic or top.
And it's reversible too :-)

Wonderful vacation :)

I just wanted to share some pictures of my vacation. It was very inspiring spending all my time with my family! We've traveled by motorcycle (the kids in a sidecar) We spend a few days in the forest sleeping in a Yurt! My son Doran loved the forest with all the insects and we had to take home a great collection of acorns and rocks! The last 3 days we were on folkwoods (a music festival at Eindhoven) with some friends and family. Unfortunately we've seen a lot of rain, but we didn't care about it; we had a lot of fun!

Lunchbox for Doran

My 4 year old son Doran is so proud of being a big brother and going to school! I really wanted to make him a personalised lunchbox...This one can't be mixed up with the others; so i'm sure it won't get lost.

My son Doran is turning 4...invitations for his birthday has just been send to family and friends! ...and as you see i'm addicted to designing repeats...it's so much fun to do!!!

Today it was the last day Doran went to his playgroup! He's almost turning 4 and he's going to primary school next week!

...mum is a bit sad and happy at the same time...he's already such a big boy!

Doran loves drawing cars!

My 3 years old son Doran (almost 4!) loves to draw cars...He refuse to draw people...but his cars become cute characters now; with eyes and a mouth :-) It inspired me to make an illustration about it!
